schedule

Given the degree to which the midterm exam schedule has already been impacted by the weather, we are making an adjustment. Midterm exams will now be held as follows:

Wednesday, January 28 - Periods 3 and 4 exams

Thursday, January 29 - Periods 7 and 8 exams

Friday, January 30 - Periods 1 and 2 exams

Monday, February 2 - Periods 5 and 6 exams

Tuesday, February 3 - First day of Marking Period 3 / Semester 2

Exam days will be half-days, two exams per day. There will be a passing time/lavatory break between the two exams. The cafeteria will be open to purchase grab and go food during the break.

Make-up exams will be given in the Library.  Students who need to make up exams must make arrangements with their teacher who will schedule them.

*Special note Exams will be given in period 5 and period 6 classes. These are also lunch periods; therefore, either period 5 or period 6 will become a test free period for students. In addition, Physical Education classes are also test free periods. We have designated four options for students to choose from:

  • Option #1: Students can choose not to report to school for the test free period. Should they choose not to report to a test free period, they are not permitted to be in or around the building unless they are involved in one of the two supervised activities in Option #2 or #3 listed below.

  • Option: #2: Students can choose to take advantage of the time to study in the Library Mid-Terms Study Hall and must sign up here

  • Option #3: Students who must make up an exam missed earlier in the week can make arrangements with the teacher to make up the test during their test free period.

  • It will be assumed that any students who do not sign up with the link for Option #2 will not be on school grounds during their test free period.
