Study Skills -
Writing: How do you manage stress? Make a list (3-5)of strategies that you can use to deal with stress. Explain how to use each strategy in school.

English Classes -
Choose 1 of the following activities:
1. Write a journal entry (½ -1 page typed or hand-written) in response to the following topic:
a. Imagine scientists have discovered a way to travel through time. Do you think this would be a good idea? Why or why not? Explain
your thoughts.

2. Report on current events using a news article, TV/radio, or video segment. Sources may include DogoNews, PBS News Hour, Newsela, or
another news source of your choice (TV news, newspaper). Answer the following questions:

a. What is this article/news segment about? Summarize it in 3-5 sentences.
b. What surprised you about the news?
c. What did you learn?
d. Why is this news important?
